Should I pay for that?
Your time and ours is valuable. There is an onsite consultation or measurement fee we charge. The fee will include an on-site visit by a Certified Installer measuring your opening, making suggestions for repair, or guiding you in your door purchase journey. There is no sales pitch, no sit-down flip through binder, no pushy salesman. This is a Certified Installer. If you choose to hire Green Bay Doors Douglas William Construction llc, to have an exterior door installed or replaced after your measurement, this fee will be subtracted from the cost of the door installation. Why does it cost money for a consultation. Because our installers are the ones conducting the consultation. A salesperson focuses on the sale whereas the installer focuses on the details and the accuracy of the work load. This takes away from installation time and incurs expenses we need to cover to maintain our low cost. Upon your request the Certified installer will measure your opening for you to use to compare pricing with other suppliers and installers.
